You need to do Burn bootloader first to upgrade your bootloader to match the latest source code you use.

Re: RaZberry compared to UZB1

Range depends on your indoor situation. Typically it is 10-15 m vs 5-7 m indoor.

There are firmwares for bridge. You need to do firmware upgrade in Z-Way.

Both can hold up to 232-1

Make sure both devic s share same security scheme.

Sender should send command encrypted if it recipient is included securely.

Re: ZME-UZB1

Check the frequency of your dongle (in Z-Way) and if your modules. If exclusion works, frequency are same.

Z-Way needs a license for your UZB to include a device

Re: Specify a fixed tty name for UZB1 on a specific USB port

Just in case, to remotelly reconnect your USB device you can use
for i in /sys/bus/pci/drivers/[uoex]hci_hcd/*:*; do
[ -e "$i" ] || continue
echo "${i##*/}" > "${i%/*}/unbind"
echo "${i##*/}" > "${i%/*}/bind"
done

Specify a fixed tty name for UZB1 on a specific USB port

Sometimes you need to fix the tty name for your UZB1 on a specific port. Especially when you use similiar ACM devices on different ports. This can be easily done using udev subsystem. Plug your dongle and run (supposing it is called ttyACM0 right now): # udevadm info -a -n /dev/ttyACM0 | grep {devpa...
