Re: Version 2.3.6

I have some interesting news regarding my reliability problems... I switched back to the old Zwave daughter board and now the system is considerably more reliable, by that I mean stable for at least 5 days. My purchase of the new higher-range zwave daughter board coincided with the release 2.3.6, I ...

Re: Version 2.3.6

A quick update.... replaced the SD card, replaced the power supply. Same issues with the system stopping after a day or so. This time, htop on the monitor showed zbw connect running, but the zway processes no longer there. Nothing in the log for zway and nothing in the log for syslog. Any other ideas?

Re: Expert Mode : Can not see Route Map

I am not sure what you mean by that, but I used Chrome Developer tools and in the console I got this: angular-cookies.js:6 Error: missing: 58 at vu (angular-cookies.js:6) at r (angular-cookies.js:6) at Function.Gg.e.initialize (angular-cookies.js:6) at i (angular-cookies.js:6) at Object.force (angul...

Re: Version 2.3.6

Thanks to all for useful info. First point: I made a mistake previously when I said I had rebuilt the Pi from Stretch - I didn't I used Jessie. The reason I was confused is that I had tried to build with Stretch, but try as I might I could not get Zway to work on Stretch. I went back to Jessie and i...

Re: Version 2.3.6

Thanks for the reply. I don't think it can be power supply: 1. I have had these 2 Pis for a long time - always running Zway - up until 2.3.6 almost never had this problem 2. Unlikely that both power supplies would be faulty. In fact both Pis have a fairly sturdy battery backup to protect against pow...

Re: Version 2.3.6

So now, 1 day later the Pi Primary also failed the same way.
No URL, no VNC, no SSH, this time interestingly no PING.
A reboot and all is fine.

What intrigues me is how I get this failure repeatedly within 2-3 days on 2 different Pi devices and no-one else does?

Thoughts anyone:-) ?

Re: Version 2.3.6

Well that's interesting, but like I say I have this problem affecting two Zway Pi controllers. One using the old zway card, the other with the new.
Prior to installing 2.3.6 I never had these problems.
When I monitor the CPU, the 4 cores seem pretty low most of the time.

Re: Version 2.3.6

Hi PoltoS, I have some more info... I upgraded my secondary controller (Pi3, Raspbian stretch). It died within a day. Looking now at its unresponsive state I see: > it does not respond to the URL > it does not respond with VNC > it does not respond with SSH (using PuttY) > it does respond to PING In...
