Re: UPS Pico experiences?

To see if the pi has crashed you don't really need this; the pi itself already has watchdog hardware, see https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Setting_up_the_raspberry_pi_watchdog on how to install it. This way you can auto reboot if anything goes wrong, it makes a home automation setup way more reliable. ...

Re: Newbie help.... where to experts actually hang out pleas

I have a bunch of these TKB switches, no problems on 2.2.0. What I've learned about z-wave is that when a device does not respond to any attempt to include it, reset it and also do an exclude. It may have been in another network already and then it simply will not react to your network.

Re: Need help creating associations

The switches you have only allow a controller device in their groups to "hear" what they are doing. Other devices like motion sensors have specific groups that can turn on a light, smoke detectors usually have a kind of panic group that can also turn on lights or open shutters. The groups aren't gen...

Re: Need help creating associations

I'm a bit puzzled about what you want to do. These in-wall switches are meant to be connected to a) one or more switches and b) the actual device you want to switch. That way you can switch by hand and via the interface. The pan04 has 3 association groups but these are only for reporting the switch ...

Re: Device not in namespace

It's not a specific Fibaro device version, all my fibaro devices (door and motion sensors) are only in the devices_all namespace. When I build a module where people can select a binary sensor, these devices do not show up. I tested some other user modules, none of them have my fibaro sensors in thei...

Device not in namespace

I hooked up a doorbell to a fibaro binary sensor. The interview does not complete, but it is working nonetheless. I want to use this device in my telegram bot, so I want it to be selectable in the sensorBinary namespace, but it is not. When I look at the device data it says: "deviceType":"sensorBina...

Re: Greenwave Power Node - annoying blinking LED!

Once you've polled the greenwave it stops blinking. Setting the connection parameter to 255 means it will start blinking if it hasn't been polled for 255 minutes. So make sure you poll it often, in any case within the timeframe, but if you have multiple of these things like me there's a lot of polli...

Access to serial port and dropdown in widget

Hi, I've recently purchased a razberry after using various other HA systems over the last 10 years, and I have seriously fallen in love with the zway platform. I've started planning a move from Fibaro HCL to zway, but for that I need some new widgets that I am building at the moment and will publish...
