Re: wallc-s factory reset not working?

I don't know if swapping the battery fixed it, or whether the action of simply removing the battery and putting it back in, but I managed to factory reset this time and the wallc-s is now talking to my new OpenHAB system after inclusion. A few points to note: 1) You have to hold all 4 buttons down f...

Re: wallc-s factory reset not working?

That's exactly what I'm trying. But if I press all 4 buttons at the same time I don't get green/red flashing - I get just get slow green flashing. I have to hold the buttons down for about 5 seconds for this to happen - not the 1 second that it says in the manual. The battery has only been in there ...

wallc-s factory reset not working?

I have a WallC-S switch (don't know which version but it says Z-Wave plus on the back, takes 1xCR2032 battery and is 868Mhz. There are 4 black buttons on the front). I originally connected it to a Razberry GPIO board on a Raspberry PI running the Z-Way software. The board stopped working ages ago an...

Re: Dead z-wave board

Thanks for the information vosmont. In the end I concluded that the board was dead so I returned to the vendor. It didn't appear in /dev/ or any of the Linux commands that I issued and I didn't know what else to do with it. Remember that it worked for a while, then I rebooted the PI and it stopped w...

Re: Dead z-wave board

@Support: Yes it is set to /dev/ttyAMA0 It originally worked. All I did was turn the PI off and on again. Any more ideas? Anything I can type at the shell to confirm the presence of the device or perform any diagnostics? @gsaw: Hmm. Sounds similar except that I didn't take the board off the PI Simon

Re: Reliable Temperature Sensor for RaZberry

I have a fibaro fire alarm which contains a temperature sensor.
The fire alarm is great but the temperature sensor is regularly reporting about 5 or 6 degrees Celsius higher than the actual room temperature.
Never tried the stand alone fibaro temperature sensor.....

Re: Dead z-wave board

Forgot to mention....

When I turn on the PI 2, the lights on the Z-wave board come on for about 1 second and then turn off.
From that point onwards, there are no lights on the Z-wave board.

Dead z-wave board

Hi, I have a RazBerry board connected to a PI 2. I'm running Raspbian Jessie lite 2016-09-23 I installed the Z-way software using wget -q -O - razberry.z-wave.me/install | sudo bash It originally worked. The SmartHome website worked fine and I managed to add my Fire alarm and a few Z-wave light swit...
