Z-Uno are getting hot
I have a fully functional Z-Uno, but it starts getting errors after a while, the IC2 are getting very hot to the touch.
Is there any schematics to the chips used, so I can try replacing the hot ones?
It looks like the chip getting hot are some part of the voltage regulator.

I have trouble using mcp23017
Hi, I have trouble getting the correct return to the controller. when I turn on a relay / button it does not return the correct state. The script have 17 sub devices, could it be to large? Re: Hot, 25pe40vp chip (U2)
Hi, I use a external voltage regulator for the relay module.
the changing voltage are never above 14.2V (AMG Battery) I have a solar regulator that regulate the changing.
I will change the setup to use 1K resistor on all pins like you suggested.

Re: Hot, 25pe40vp chip (U2)
Hi petergebruers, If I understand you correctly, I should for safety reason connecting all pins, except 7-18,5v,GND and 3v3 to Ground with a 1K resistor? I am not connecting the ULN2003 directly to the coils (this module have a seperate power supply): https://www.dropbox.com/s/j9s5nh3rihshvjl/Fil%20...
