Re: Is the Z-Wave protocol dying?

There is plenty of open source libraries for z-wave. Not for z-wave controllers because they are all they specific APIs. Re: ubuntu 3.0 zbwconnect?

I managed to install this on a rPi which resolved the problem. Obviously it doesn't work on other platforms like ubuntu preventing app downloads and remote access.

ubuntu 3.0 zbwconnect?

Installed fresh on a ubuntu machine and I cannot get remote access to work. When I go install the app it says it is installed but I cannot find the location of the zbwconnect module which is supposed to be in a zbw folder. I cannot find it at all in the installation package or the local app. Anybody...

Re: Z-Way v3.0.0 Release

Can't figure out how to upgrade the ubuntu version. Downloaded it and ran decompressed the folder and wrote it over the old installation (2.3.8 with a backup) but the thing won't start properly. The server seems to be very slow to load and I keep get to a page asking for me to login but none of my u...

Re: UZB S2 security?

I just ran a few tests, joining a network in secure mode fails. In order to add the z-way into my network, I have to set the main controller as insecure. I either need the ability to set the key manually or to join a network in secure mode.
