Hi just update. I've tried another sensor in case I had a bad one, and also with the sensor on the i2c bus on it's own with the pull up resistors and without. No matter I just get the same result.

Ahh great that's good news. That should lower the current usage a fair bit. Out of interest why does zwave not like you doing this, it sounds like the right way for battery powered blinds. I'll get a zuno to try my design and if goes well I would like to make the actual one with the new solder in mo...

Blinds mode and FLiRS

Hi I'm looking to build automated blinds for my house using the zuno. There is no power near each window so it will auto charge the batteries up via solar power. The problem I have is zuno only supports ZUNO_BLINDS in ZUNO_SLEEPING_MODE_ALWAYS_AWAKE. Won't this mean it will use atleast 40mah constan...
