Re: version 3.0.12

Hi to everyone that may be interested in Z-uno(2) life with Fibaro controller… This is a long (too long) post that describe what could be called a bug in 3.0.10 firmware . I dont kwow if this is the right place but I don't want to open a new one... I have 4 Z-uno controllers included in a Fibaro Hom...

Re: version 3.0.12

HI lanbrown, I agree with you that I should not have opened a new thread. May be someone will pull this one back where it should be... I am not using 3.1 but 3.0.10 on Z-Uno2 boards, this is the last stable version. And on Fibaro side I have also the last version... YES this is MY problem. I was thi...

Re: version 3.0.12

Hi lanbrown, My master is a fibaro home center 3, I do not use Razberry board. This subject is in fact following previous exchanges https://forum.z-wave.me/viewtopic.php?p=98750#p98750 Congestion issues is for sure the subject. How to avoid them, still staying in a simple HW environmement is the que...

Re: version 3.0.12

Hi Again, Some details about my current analysis of my Zwave issues with FW 3.0.10 (and HomeCenter3) if it may helps. I have 4 different applications, but I will focus here on the two one that run physically close together. Behavior of the two other ones does not contradict my conclusions . Both 2 a...

version 3.0.12

Hello, I am (still) fighting with zwave protocol issues using 3.0.10. You advice me to try 3.0.12 few monthes ago. Reluctant up to now, this morning I was ready to test, but I went to github and i see that 'things' are moving... Is it still worth to try 3.0.12 or should I wait for imminent release o...

Re: I CANNOT SEE TEMPERATURES HIGHER THAN 125 ºcº ON MULTILEVEL CHANNEL HC1 HC3 FIBARO CONTROLLER

Hi Manurev , Late answer... End of the day, whatever effort you will do, with HC3, Hcx and any other Z-Wave controler, you will be only able to send from controler to Zwave devices values in range 0--99 using SWITCH_MULTILEVEL type (ie dimer like) with a resolution of 1; ie: it is a percentage. From...

Re: Binary sensor on Fibaro HC3

Hi all, As a late reply and as a gobal rule : Do not comment partially ZUNO macros (such as ZUNO_SETUP_CHANNELS), especially using "//". Unpredictable results are granted!! This is not a ZUNO/arduino 'bug' but C macro 'properties'. Instead, if you want to keep track of your tests: Duplicat...

Re: I CANNOT SEE TEMPERATURES HIGHER THAN 125 ºcº ON MULTILEVEL CHANNEL HC1 HC3 FIBARO CONTROLLER

Hi, I did not dig deeply in this post and I do not use 'getter' functions in my application but, to me, as soon as you declare: byte getterWhatEverName() { return WhatEverVariable } The result of getterWhatEverName will be between +/-127, this is the maximum a byte can do... To see if I am wrong try...

FW 3.10 & zwave saturation

Hi all, Following my previous post https://forum.z-wave.me/viewtopic.php?f=3427&t=35912 I confirm that the answer from p0lyg0n1 is probably right. Under firmware 3.10 there is a problem with Zwave communication ‘saturation’… Especially painful when module is far away (but not only?) In my case, ...

Re: Eeprom writes and config param changes => board reset

Hi Alex, Thanks for your answers, On my side I have made some progresses about my workaround(s)… I had already set LOGGING_DBG and see that maybe I also had a saturation of Zwave network “meanwhile”. So I have: added a ‘break;’ in the ‘for loop‘ that scans channels that should be updated toward HC3....
