Re: RGBW LED strip + Fibaro HC2

Fibaro recently released firmware version 4.130 and it appears to support the color switch class, although there was no official announcement. It was discover by a user, after (re-)including a ZW range extender. See: https://forum.fibaro.com/index.php?/topic/25895-aeotec-zw117-range-extender-rgb-col...

Re: FGD-212 Reset Alarm

I have an update from Fibaro...According to: http://www.pepper1.net/zwavedb/device/750 The device supports Alarm Version 5. It uses events (notifications) to signal alarms (I'm not a Z-Wave developer, I hope I'm using the right expressions here). The module uses push mode and is not accepting changi...

Re: FGD-212 Reset Alarm

Thanks guys. I've made some progress. I have a better understanding of the api and the data model now. So good url's to reset one of the many alarms are: /ZWaveAPI/Run/devices[12].instances[1].Alarm.data[4].status=0 or /ZWaveAPI/Run/devices[12].instances[0].commandClasses[113].data[4].status=0 As I ...

Re: FGD-212 Reset Alarm

Thanks. I almost understand. ;-) It's the xxxx part and the "=" I'm having difficulties with...

If I type this URL:

http://192.168.0.52:8083/ZWaveAPI/Run/d ... Alarm.data["9"].status

I get "255" so I assume I'm looking at the right object.

What would the URL look like to reset it?

FGD-212 Reset Alarm

I have been running a RaZberry for some months now, so I'm new to this. Please excuse me if this turns out to be a noob question. I am not new to Z-Wave, I've been running a Fibaro HC2 with 80 devices for almost 3 years. I was testing the new Fibaro Dimmer, aka "Dimmer 2" on RaZ v2.1.2-rc2 and I not...

Re: razberry range problems

If you look at the Razberry, you'll see the internal antenna attached to a capacitor (small block). The other side of the capacitor goes to some circuit (the radio) and a solder pad (tinned). That pad connects to the centre wire of your coax. Next to that pad, you'll see another, identical one. That...

Re: razberry range problems

Here are a few thoughts... - If you are afraid to ruin it, then don't do it. You have to be prepared to ruin it. - the 8,5 cm wire is the antenna. Just like the wires coming out the housing of a Fibaro relay. You can start by making it a bit longer then measure range and bend it until it seems optim...

Re: razberry range problems

I did roughly the same thing. I used 15 cm of shielded wire (used for audio... you could use a small coax but I think it doesn't matter at that short length), and at the end about 8,5 cm of ordinary wire. It has at least doubled the range, but I think it's even closer to three times. I get almost th...

Re: Issues after 2.0.1 upgrade via management on 8084

Tough question... Systems can be so different. I think it can solve the display of the "{{ ... }}" things. But maybe it's worth waiting for v2.02. I've read in another post that it's close to being released (it's still rc2 and not recommended for production).

Re: Issues after 2.0.1 upgrade via management on 8084

Something similar happened to me once. the solution was to upgrade via command line, as described on http://razberry.z-wave.me/index.php?id=24
