Re: V4.1.2: steadily increasing cpu load

Perhaps any of the 4.1.2 users can do that?

Re: bug in eventemitter2

Isn't is possible to add defaultMaxListeners as an option to config.xml and set it during server start? I have tried several increasing values to find the right one for me. But it was very time-consuming, since every time a server restart is necessary. And every time it was too small. In the end, I ...

Re: V4.1.2: steadily increasing cpu load

I'm currently on 3.2.3 and have no increasing CPU load. Since there are only small changes in modhttp.so, can I copy the 4.1.2 version of that file into the 3.2.3 folder and restart the zway server? Would that work? Thank you, piet66, for this idea. Yes, it was tested that it will work, so just cop...

Re: bug in eventemitter2

Thank you for the explanation.

The main problem is, in my opinion, that the limit is fixed in the code. And if the user increases it in the code, it will be overwritten at the next update again.

And if you set the value higher by default, it may be too small again at some point

Re: z-way-server doesn't start with init.d

Hi PoltoS, thank you for your offer. But I don't think that's possible in that way. The server stop happens so seldom, that I don't expect anything from an examination with gdb. I hope that next time a core dump is created. Would you be able to analyze that? And the problem with not working restart ...

Re: V4.1.2: steadily increasing cpu load

Hi PoltoS, I would very much welcome it if the problem could be solved soon. What do you think of the following idea: I'm currently on 3.2.3 and have no increasing CPU load. Since there are only small changes in modhttp.so, can I copy the 4.1.2 version of that file into the 3.2.3 folder and restart ...

Re: V4.1.2: steadily increasing cpu load

Now I have a question of understanding: do you think, that the http.request() command is buggy? I'm also using this command in my apps. And that could explain my problem too. But then the bug would have to be new in ZWay release 4, as I don't have this problem in release 3. Can anyone confirm that t...

Re: V4.1.2: steadily increasing cpu load

Unfortunately, I noticed that the CPU load is constantly increasing, just like in 4.1.0. Hi, what tool you have used for this (CPU load table)? (for compare the values) My htop does not show such high usage - but maybe really depend on the used modules... Michael My own tool, MxBash V2.0.0 :D . You...

Re: bug in eventemitter2

I just have found this: https://forum.z-wave.me/viewtopic.php?f=3425&t=34123&p=89740&hilit=eventemitter2#p89740 However, the answer is unsatisfactory. On the one hand, I am of the opinion that the program must not throw an exception with a warning. Either it's a warning, then the program...
