Controlling devices on my iPad

Post by j.koolen »

What is the best way to control my devices from an iPad in a Z-Cloud setup?

I have been using SQRemote to control my Vera2 (Mios) in the pas and am looking for an alternative that will work with Z-way

We are working on mobile web interface

Post by PoltoS »

We are currently developing a mobile web application that would work on Android, iPhone and iPad. We hope to release some preliminary version next month.

For now you can use Z-Cloud "user" interface on your iPad. It should work. Notice, that "admin" interface does not work! It is to hard for iPad.

To use user interface be sure to have different passwords for "user" and "admin" logins.

Please try new version of Z-Cloud

Post by PoltoS »

We have released new version of Z-Cloud with second user interface for mobile devices.

To access it go to https://z-cloud.z-wave.me:<port>/mobile.html (use your <port> number). It was tested to work on Android, iPhone, iPad and iPod. It is not completed yet and was not styled with a beautiful design, but should work for lights, window shutter and scenes. Heating will come soon too.

Feel free to report errors and suggest changes.
