Good morning, I hope someone can point me in the right direction here.

I am in the process of setting up my network and I have succesfully added several Fibaro fdg 212s and a nodon octan remote. I am having trouble with adding some AeoTec dimmers. They are Gen 2 and the only one I can find in the device description list is the gen 6 which as different config classes it seems. I have had a brief look in to modifying the ZDDX to locally 'add' the device but I am a little bit stuck. Can anyone point me to a link where I can learn more about ZDDX and how to create my own?

You can use Exper Commands tab in Expert UI and do everything according to Aeotec manual

Hello PoltoS, thanks for replying.

I can use the ExpertUI to control basic functions but I cannot find a device description that allows me to use it fully. I can set it to version 6 but the interview doesn't work. An older version Razwave had the version 2 description which worked well. I guess I am going to have to install that on another device and try and copy the XML over in to the latest version.

I usually don't use the device descriptions for almost any of my devices. Is there something in particular that you are not able to do with the device?
