I have some thoughts to the webif (mongoose) service:
It is running in background without any use - only when issuing a firmware update, right? Is it used in any other way?
This seems a little unnecessary to me. Having a whole server running all the time - on two ports - just to serve a "Disabled" message?
Will it be a problem if I deactivate it? (stop the service somehow)
Why is it using port 443? How about 8085 or something... (It's not that important, is it?)
Well... I don't quite get the purpose of it. When it is only enabled when you start a firmware update, why don't you only run in on demand - or do you even need a separate server for that?

Disable webif (~mongoose)
Re: Disable webif (~mongoose)
This is because it should run even if Z-Way is dead (bad upgrade). So we keep it constantly.
You can stop it and remove webif from /etc/init.d if you do all you need from the console
