32-bit linux or windows UZB update tool
32-bit linux or windows UZB update tool
Is there a version of the UZB update tool that can be used on 32bit linux or Windows command line, without needing to mess about installing the full controller (which fails to load the update portion for me anyway)

You can download it here

Re: 32-bit linux or windows UZB update tool
Any chance of getting https://z-wave.me/download/ZMESerialUpdater compiled as ARM to allow it to run on Raspberry Pi's?
It's also a 64-bit compilation looking at the metadata:
./ZMESerialUpdater: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2, for GNU/Linux 2.6.32, BuildID[sha1]=373ec5dee826653796e927ac3d65c9a8ec7db9da, stripped

Re: 32-bit linux or windows UZB update tool
Yes, it is for Linux x64. On Pi you are better to use Z-Way with the API
Re: 32-bit linux or windows UZB update tool
Any reason? Any chance the code can be released? I'd be willing to do a 32bit / arm port and a windows version ...
Installing z-way just for this is a crazy requirement and it honestly just doesn't work half the time (end up with the firmware page no responding)

Re: 32-bit linux or windows UZB update tool
I've setup a 64-bit Linux box to run the script, however, when I run it all I get is a constant stream of --> and thats it ....
i.e. According to docs this should print version info
./ZMESerialUpdater serialapi_uzbupdate -d /dev/ttyACM0
Z-Wave Serial API Tool
Version:LWE0.9
by Z-WAVE>ME
-->
-->

etc until terminated

Re: 32-bit linux or windows UZB update tool
This is a try to connect. Looks the port is not correct or the user is not in dialout group
Re: 32-bit linux or windows UZB update tool
Now https://z-wave.me/download/ZMESerialUpdater.tgz contains x64 and ARM versions (for Raspberry Pi)neillans wrote: ↑13 Aug 2019 09:33Any chance of getting https://z-wave.me/download/ZMESerialUpdater compiled as ARM to allow it to run on Raspberry Pi's?
Re: 32-bit linux or windows UZB update tool
Now it is possible to use Z-Way for this:
We have just made a beta for Z-Way v3.0.3: https://storage.z-wave.me/z-way-server/ ... 3-beta.msi
We are testing it to make a release this week. You can also test. Make sure to have a backup of the Z-Way folder before you install it
Currently no Google Home/Alexa and no WebSockets, but soon we add them too.
