Everspring AN157 interview fails

Post by holyky »

Hi,

today I tried to include my Everyspring AN157 to my RaZberry. Theoretically, it seems working.

But under "Device Configuration" it has the following status:

"Interview stage: Interview is not complete yet. You probably have to wake up the device +..++.."
"Device state: Device seems to be dead."

I can turn it on and off .. but if I do it 3-4 times in a row, the off switch fails and stucks for a few seconds.

I am new to z-wave and have no idea if it's normal or what to do now ... :(

I hope someone can help me.

Thanks!

Hmm... I have two AN175 in my setup, as well. The interview state is "+ +++ +++" in my case ("Interview complete").
Try the following:
1. Activate expert mode
2. Go to "Devices configuration"
3. Select your AN157 device
4. Click "Select Z-Wave Device Description Record"
5. Click the button "Request NIF"
6. Click on "Advanced actions"
7. Click on "Force re-interview"

=> At some moment, the re-inteview process should take place (you can verify by clicking "Inspect queue" on the "Network" tab...

BTW: You mentioned "but if I do it 3-4 times in a row, the off switch fails and stucks for a few seconds."
=> Does that mean the switch fails to perform the changes or does it just hang for a short moment and then executes the request successfully?

Greets,

Stefan
