Hi everyone,

I am new to the RaZberry and just started to toy around with the tool and implement a small Z-Wave network at home. During my internet research, I came to the Sigma Design web site and saw that there is a newer version of the Z-Wave controller chip out there with the following added features:

More internal memory
AES 128 security engine
Increased data rates to 100 kbps
Uses frequency bands 779...956 MHz for complete global coverage
Concurrent multi-channel support reduces external interference
Superior blocking performance

Is this chip required for fully utilising security related products like door locks or is it just an upgraded version of the RaZberry built in ZM3102 with better performance, memory, etc...

Will there be an update to the razberry product containing this chip (if that makes sense)?

These chips will become
