Solved: Problem with interview of new devices

Post by Zjohan »

Hi,

I have a small Z-wave NW
1 Razberry running 2.0.0 SW
2 Aeon labs on/off switch receiver with energy meter ZW075-C16
This part is working fine & I have it running the sunrise sunset module.

But now I'm trying to expand my NW with the following devices
1 Aeon labs multisensor DSB05-ZWEU
1 Aeon labs In-Wall Smart Energy Switch Receiver DSC18103-ZWEU
Both new devices are in the same room as one of the already working switches ( Within 3 meters from it)

But I can't get the interview phase to complete for either of the new devices.

The multisensor ends up in this interview result
0 Basic Done
SensorBinary Done
SensorMultilevel Force Interview
Configuration Done
ManufacturerSpecific Force Interview
Battery Force Interview
Wakeup Force Interview
Association Force Interview
Version Force Interview

The in-wall switch ends up in this interview result
0 Basic Done
SwitchBinary Force Interview
SwitchAll Force Interview
SceneActivation Done
SceneActuatorConf Done
Meter Force Interview
CRC16 Done
Configuration Done
ManufacturerSpecific Force Interview
Association Force Interview
Version Force Interview

I have tried to force the interview's over & over again. Both individual parts & complete interview. But I always ends up in the state above.
I have also tried to move multisensor close to the razberry but it also resulted in the same interview result.

Any Ideas on how to overcome this & ideas on how to troubleshoot this further is very appreciated

Finally got the interview working fully.
I rebooted the razberry & placed the switch & sensor really close to the razberry when the interview was performed.
After that was completed I moved them back to their original position.
Now everything is working as it should. :-)

The inclusion is indeed very sensitive. My Fibaro Universal Sensors has to be half a meter away from RaZberry. It did not work at two and a half meters

I've always solved it so far by forcing interviews. But it seems like z-way-server should be able to be a little more persistent in this.
