V2.0.1-RC29

Post by pz1 »

Tried to update my Raspi 2 to V2.0.1-RC29 using WEBIF. System still hangs after 30+ minutes. No luck with webbrowser restart. Comes back with the same hanging screen and a since long outdated change log.
Also a second try after cold reboot failed. (same upgrade method to v.2.0 did work).

I do have growing doubts if this will ever lead to a system with more than mediocre reliability.

After I have installed 28_alpha and I have not updated yet the system is running rock stable. I am sure after I have seen the last developments we will see a reliable system at a certain day. Maybe not tomorrow but maybe at the end of 2015!? ;) Some optimism is sometime neaded but we also should honor the efforts the guys are doing.

My raspberry 1 crashed this night with the version rc28. I installed the RC29 version on raspberry 2, no concern at the moment

The crash of my raspberry actually came from a bug of my wifi internet box

I've got the same issue with rc29: updating to this version puts one of my raspi cores at 100%, also after a restart. An way to solve this?

Afaik you can't move devices from one controller to an other with Z-Way. In some occasions the stick and devices bound to it may be discovered by other software. OpenRemote used to do that.

I am curious about your experiences with Smartthings

Updating to a newer version still does not help: one core at 100% even after a reboot and webinterface does not start.
Has anyone managed to resolve this?
