OUT OF SCALE VALUES FROM SENSORS

Post by marco »

Hi all,
Some time I receive out of scale values from sensors.
At the beginning I was thinking that something was wrong only with a widom energy driven switch. I decided to replace that switch but meanwhile I was organizing replacement I set some value log reporting app to control also other sensors. With my surprise, same situation was highlighted also on other sensors. I’m talking about voltage value like 1.238V, 2.345.654W, temperature valuese like 831°C or -127°C and so on.
Does anybody have similar situations?
Systems analyzed: Raspberry Pi 2 and 3 with razberry new generation.
Following images are taken directly from log page. Look at the temperature reporting as example.

Sometimes 0°C is reported when temperature probe is disconnected…but this was not the case…
Of course this is highlighted in the graphs which result not usable because the scale go out of range.

Hi Alphons,
did you have the chance to solve the issue?

This is usually RF problems - corrupted packet arrived, but passed CRC check. Use of Security, CRC16 or 5th gen devices do solve this problem.
