Hi I'm looking to build automated blinds for my house using the zuno. There is no power near each window so it will auto charge the batteries up via solar power.
The problem I have is zuno only supports ZUNO_BLINDS in ZUNO_SLEEPING_MODE_ALWAYS_AWAKE. Won't this mean it will use atleast 40mah constantly atleast meaning around 1 amp of battery usage during the day?
It would be nice for it to use ZUNO_SLEEPING_MODE_FREQUENTLY_AWAKE. Is this possible?

Officially it is not allowed, but you can use it.

Ahh great that's good news. That should lower the current usage a fair bit. Out of interest why does zwave not like you doing this, it sounds like the right way for battery powered blinds.

I'll get a zuno to try my design and if goes well I would like to make the actual one with the new solder in modules you have released.
