Decibel Meter using Z-Uno ,Vera controller and Microphone module

I’m trying to build a decibel meter using a Z-Uno module and a microphone module which will connect to a Vera Edge controller. Just wondering if anyone has done this before and if so would be able to help with the Sketch?

Decibels are not supported by Vera. Please use Generice Puropse sensor to report your values.

Thanks for that information.
Has anyone tried to build one of these yet? I'm just interested in what formula you may have used to present the level in decibels.
