How many pins can I actually use for sensors?

Post by notcopumpkin »

I'm looking to plug in a lot of door sensors/reed switches so I just need binary input. Judging from the diagram that came in the box, it looks like pins 0-8 and 17-25 can all be used for this purpose, so I should be able to connect 18 binary sensors or switches to the board. Is that correct?

That is correct. You can also use pins 9-16 - they are PWM, but can work as GPIO too
