Could somebody clarify whether the Razberry is using Z-cloud as backend or not ? Or is this a pure local solution ?

Well, RaZberry is a h/w + s/w
Well, RaZberry is a h/w + s/w.
RaZberry h/w can be used with Z-Cloud if you want so.
As for s/w, no, RaZberry s/w does not use Z-Cloud and is a fully standalone application. So, you are free to choose one of two possibilities: standalone s/w or Z-Cloud SaaS.

I was in contact before with somebody from z-wave.me to discuss integration, but I didn't want to support a cloud solution. Now that you're offering a standalone solution I am very interested to start the work.
I might need some support on the way though...
