Reliable Temperature Sensor for RaZberry

Post by bloargh »

Hi,

I'm currently looking for a new temp-sensor. The ST814 I've got isn't working (I had an ISP who offered smarthome solutions, but he cancelled the smarthome service. With their Gateway everythink worked fine).

There are Aeon Labs Multisensor6 and the Fibaro Multisensor 5G

Which one is more reliable? I basically just need the temperature sensor function to trigger a switch.
The Aeon Labs Sensor could be powered over an usb-cable which is cool, but I've read that it isn't very precise.

Thanks,
Bloargh

I have a fibaro fire alarm which contains a temperature sensor.
The fire alarm is great but the temperature sensor is regularly reporting about 5 or 6 degrees Celsius higher than the actual room temperature.
Never tried the stand alone fibaro temperature sensor.....
