Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of building a wood shop and am at the point of adding a dust collection system.
I am trying to do the following:
1. Turn on any tool
A. Open a dust gate for that tool
B. Turn on the Dust collector(110 or 220)
2. Turn off the tool
A. Close the dust gate
B. Turn off the Dust collector after running 7 sec.
I am looking at Arduino for the dust gates and Arduino/Z Wave for the Dust collector. This will allow me to
control the Dust collector without having wires running from all the tools.
I have never worked with either. I could buy automatic dust gates but they are $250.00 a piece. No way.
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be fantastic.
Thank you guys,
Steve

Re: Wood Shop Dust Collector
You can use Z-Uno to control various peripherals of your device. You might need to buy different Arduino relays to switch 230/110V
