Move from Razberry board to UZB?

Post by Tinkerer »

I've been running on a Razberry board for the last few years, and while it's been rock solid, it ties me to a Pi. That's now becoming a performance problem.

Obviously I can buy a UZB, remove the devices from the old controller, then include them to the new controller. That's 25 or so devices though, which would be frustrating and time consuming - some of those devices are a pain.

What I'm hoping is that I can use the Z-Way software to back up the Razberry board, and then restore that backup to the UZB. I can't find anything that says that it's possible, or that it's not... if anybody knows, either way, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

It is possible in Manage menu. You can also do it in Expert UI (in Network control tab)

That's awesome to hear, and gives me a sensible way to migrate.

Thank you!

(now, off to buy a UZB)
