The version 5.00 can unfortunately not be upgraded. It is the very first version and a special tool (hardware) is needed to do it. Sorry, this board is so old (2014-2015 I suppose).

You can use the CodeDevice (or HTTPDevice) app to show temp, disc space, etc. You can also use InfoWidget and API to change it's text if you really need text only instead of number + scale units.

If they are faint, the firmware is not starting (very unlikely unless you also updated the chip firmware during this maintenance). If they are bright, this means memory fault. FLASH memory have to be replaced. Of course it will clear your installation, but you can restore it back from the backup, so...
