Like I said, I would like to develop on my workstation instead of the RPi so I was looking for a way to attach the RaZberry daughter board via USB and access it as a serial port.

Can you see the "call for heat" status of the thermostat? I currently have this working with a Vera Lite but I can't trigger a scene based on whether the thermostat is calling for heat or not
