Re: http.request issues

Thanks for the suggestion. I believe I fixed the certificate issue by using proper domain name instead of internal IP, but now I get "Couldn't connect to server". The connection works (after some routing adjustments) just fine from any browser, no certificate trust issues any more, however the topic...

http.request issues

Hi. I am using http.request and I observed recently only that my module is broken. I get the following error from the other end: "SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK" This was working fine for a good while. I am not sure since when the issue might be present. Does anyone have an idea h...

Web interface welcome screen

Is it possible to disable the "welcome" screen from the web interface?
It is quite annoying when web UI is redirected (daily?). If there a possibility to control this?

Thanks!

Re: 3 speed fan control

How powerful is the fan? The simplest way would be with a dimmer, capable to control inductive loads (motors). The problem is most dimmers are not designed to control inductive loads, or they are capable to control only a fraction of the power compared to the usually marketed restive load. You have ...

So from here the question: Are the association related (direct) commands follow the same rule/level as done with the gateway? ... I remeber that fibaro devices have some option to communica...

Re: COMMAND_CLASS_SOUND_SWITCH support

I can't t answer you that. This siren is anything but user-friendly, but still one of the best currently available options.
As you have a much deeper understanding of this I'm sure you'll come up with a better idea.

Re: COMMAND_CLASS_SOUND_SWITCH support

For each channel and for each sound type a toggle device is created: (8+1 channels) * (30 sound types) ... that's a lot
Maybe a simple solution would be to create instead of the toggle devices a multilevel switch for each channel, that would sum up 9, instead of 270?

Re: Heatit Z-TRM2fx

The heating module sets both modes. What's strange that if I do that over the REST API, the mode is not changed. However, the heating modules does both. I have no control over this, and as it is, it's unusable. In the above logs: 67.data.1 is heating mode set-point 67.data.2 is cooling mode set-point
