Re: Qubino ZMNHND1 behind UK 3pin Socket?
Also as an amateur electrician myself. you say. "The RCD will be off during the work." Be safe.. I don't know your knowledge. I have seen some dangerous stuff done by my mates. I still advise the final safety check. (touch Live and Neutral together before you touch anything) Although this ...

Re: Qubino ZMNHND1 behind UK 3pin Socket?
Nice one Vini,
Looks good. Is that on HDMI to the raspberry ?
I'm still working on 7 inch Nextion. Recessed into the wall, All 5 volts though so Arduino controller is up in my loft.
Arduino is networked, so communicates back to z-way over http.

Re: Qubino ZMNHND1 behind UK 3pin Socket?
Is the recess deep enough to take the Qubino ? Are you happy to lose manual switches , giving all control to z-wave. Connect Neutral To Qubino "N" and also to the socket "N". ( link wire, can feed this one back from the socket if needed) Connect Live supply to Qubino "L"...

Re: Qubino ZMNHND1 behind UK 3pin Socket?
The easy answer is yes you can. But it's a lot easier using a plug in socket. Z-Wave TKB On/Off Switch Socket - GEN5 - UK TKB_TZ68-E-GEN5 £28.00 Each For your Device. Qubino.com gives the wiring diagrams. But if you don't understand their diagrams you shouldn't be playing with the Live 240v wiring. ...

Re: Recover Z-Wave Pi Install
James have you already installed zway on the new sd card ? If you have. Go into ExpertUI and make a backup before you do anything else. (I'm not sure, but think this backup is mainly the Razberry board data) You might as well do the other backup in SmarthomeUI Configuration-Management tab. It's not ...

Hi cdogg
I have been trying out the beta builds.
They are all listed at https://storage.z-wave.me/z-way-server/
Which is shown on the main z-way introduction page.
v2.3.8-rc4 has issues. got reference error.
v2.3.8-rc7 installed 2 weeks ago and has been good.
have fun.

Re: Why is Alexa failing again ?
Well, for me Alexa fails once a week. or more often. Personally I think that is not a good service. Today (Monday 16th) The Germany server is offline.. https://support.zwave.eu/status/ but I am still connected to it ! (it is not working) sudo netstat -np 78.46.43.211:22 But I go to Management-remote...

Re: Latency / Delay between motion detection and trigger of action
I have also noticed the delays since 2.3.6. Have had to use workarounds since "Code Device" became too slow. Maybe something Z-Wave Support can explain ! I have found that "Light Motion Trigger" works faster than "If-Then". Light comes on quite quickly. Although it has ...
