Re: Z-way installation on Raspberry PI 5
I find it incredibly frustrating that the software doesn’t work seamlessly on the Raspberry Pi 5 (RPI5) right out of the box. Despite spending months trying to address this issue, I still can’t pinpoint the problem. I suspect it’s a rather basic reason. I want to express my gratitude to @seattleneil...

Re: Z-way installation on Raspberry PI 5
No. Have no time and experience to play with Raspberry PI OS.
Would be great if development team prepares SD card image that works with RPI 5.

Re: Z-way installation on Raspberry PI 5
Took me some time to realize that AnyDesk does not work on RPI 5 (64 bit Desktop) OS :-( Next I installed TeamViewer on RPI 5 and tryed to connect from local network PC and also from mobile phone. Did not work. TeamViewer server is running on my RPI 5 but connection could not be established. But I c...

Re: Z-way installation on Raspberry PI 5
Still have no solution for my problem. RPI5 is not accessible whatever I try. Since I have 'my old RPI' Razberry setup on the same network working just fine, I would say there is some settings issue with RPI 5. It is interesting that I can SSH connect to RPI5 from my PC with no problem. 'find.z-wave...

Re: Z-way installation on Raspberry PI 5
Downloaded z-way image from: https://razberry.z-wave.me/z-way-server/razberry.img.zip and copied image to SD card using RPI imager. 20240309_223112.jpg Z-way image is obviously not prepared to be installed on RPI5 ? Then I installed latest Raspberry PI (64 bit) from the same RPI imager and also z-wa...

Re: Z-way installation on Raspberry PI 5
My 'upgrade' is also 'still in progress'
Would be great if z-way support team prepare installation procedure that works on a new RPI platform.
Otherwise we (non Raspberry PI OS experts) are just wasting our time.

Re: Z-way installation on Raspberry PI 5
'/var/log/z-way-server.log' file is empty. Razberry 7 module works fine on my Raspberry PI 3B. I connected it to Rasp PI 5 before z-way installation. '/boot/firmware/config.txt' now looks like: ... [all] dtparam=uart0=on enable_uart=1 There must be some issue with new OS setup.?. If this helps (http...

Re: Z-way installation on Raspberry PI 5
Well this was the 4th method I tried yesterday. I installed full Raspberry PI OS Desktop 64-bit. Desktop is much more appropriate and user friendly for me. Then I installed z-way (followed 'help.z-wave.me' article: Installing Z-Way server on Raspbian Bookworm x64): wget -qO - https://raw.githubuserc...
