Re: How to enable Long Range Support in EU ?

According to the changelog, version 4.1.4 supports EU LR.
I am still hesitant to install the Trident version. Besides this, I'm still on buster.
Still hoping, that anybody knows how to enable it in the ZME version.

Thank you for the additional information. That's very helpful.

How to enable Long Range Support in EU ?

Hello, as now long range is possible in EU and because now I have some devices with long range support, I wanted to enable LR for me, but I didn't succeed. I have Z-Way 4.1.2, Razberry 7 firmware 7.42 the Controller Info tells Z-Wave Long Range = hook but the Expert UI Control/ Device Management say...

Hi seattleneil,
I really appreciate your constant efforts to help other users. Thank you very much for your post.

It is reassuring that we have time to prepare for Z-Way's final end.

Re: Bootloader upgrade to 02.04.0005 fails with CRC error

You're right, you should always consider what risk you're taking. I only upgrade myself if I have a special reason to do so. And wait until others have successfully installed the upgrade. On the other hand, this upgrade is offered in ExpertUi, and therefore officially. In such a case, you should rep...

Re: Bootloader upgrade to 02.04.0005 fails with CRC error

It's right, the bootloader update is offered for Razberry 7 with different version number 17367041>33816581, also without token 'all': https://service.z-wave.me/expertui/uzb/?vendorId=327&appVersionMajor=7&appVersionMinor=42&bootloaderCRC=1766938484&token=all&uuid=1&bootloade...

Re: Restoring a backup

Interesting. Does this mean, are you running Z-Way on a Raspberry Pi 5 with 32-bit Bookworm? Is it working correctly and did you have to do any adjustments? According to Z-Way documentation, Bookworm is still not officially supported: https://z-wave.me/z-way/download-z-way/ The Z-Way team still seem...

Re: Restoring a backup

There is always confusion about what the two backups contain. To clarify this question once and for all, I have now searched the documentation zab-backup (from ZWayManual.pdf, chapter 4.3 The Management Interface): Please note that the backup and restore function will only handle files on the contro...

Re: Restoring a backup

Do you really want to switch to Raspberry Pi 5?

Bookworm is not officially supported by Z-Way.

Re: Restoring a backup

I would install the zab backup at last. There's no sense to start the user software before everything else is ready. My proposal: - for security upgrade system2 to a later version, for example 4.1.2. Razberry 7 needs at least 3.2.3. - do both backups (zab + zbk) for both systems. - install the new s...

Re: wrong hops in incoming packets

It should be mentioned that an upgrade to the latest Razberry firmware 7.42 solved the problem.
