Re: MQTT plugin gets its settings lost on restart

There is device type *text* for strings (can be also used for date), *sensorBinary* for boolean. Those are read-only. For only read-only output you don't need a special widget. sensorMultilevel can display any data format. To make them selectable, one need to add new device types and UI for them. T...

Re: MQTT plugin gets its settings lost on restart

@PoltoS When we receive and send data via MQTT there might be also non-numerical values like booleans, strings and dates/times. For these we should have appropriate device widgets for handling. Can you please think about providing such widgets? We would need: - a select box widget for strings - a da...

Re: MQTT plugin gets its settings lost on restart

Uploaded now to store. I hope it's useful.

Name: MxMQTT Subscriber
It's a beta. That means, it's working for me, but I have not the time to test everything.

Note: It's necessary to download and run the latest version of MxBaseModule first.

Re: MQTT plugin gets its settings lost on restart

I like the fact that you now provide a MQTT api.
Unfortunately it comes too late for me. I am almost finished with my own MQTT module. :(

Re: qubino thermostat 2 (ZMNKID1) cant set offset

I doubt that the expert mode accepts negative numbers. You will have to convert your input.

I don't know ZMNKID1, in other Qubino devices 0°C = 32536. I suspect that the description is wrong.

Re: MxChartJS tip: conditional coloring the background

Although it is not intended, with an additional entry you can colorize the background: Wetter.png { index: 12, device: "Daylight_35 (Tageslicht)", metric: "level", formula: "x == 'off' ? 100 : null", devlabel: "Nacht", color: "#cccccc", graphType: &q...

Re: MxChartJS

In all those cases you should use Graph Type = rectangle.
Rectangle and Single Points are always taken, when the value changed, in addition to the cyclically read (if wanted). Anything else doesn't make any sense.

For binary devices rectangle is the default.

Re: MxChartJS

What do you thing about the option spanGaps: true / false for the case that user have selected the "changed value" option for chart data? This option (changed value) make sense for a lot of sensor types to detect min/max values. But - if I have two parameters of the sensor (as sample wind...

Re: MxChartJS tip: start index from SmarthomeUI

Hi Michael,
your solution is very good. I had also searched for something like this, but did not find it. I am not a web programmer.
