Re: UZB Firmware Update from 5.07 to 5.27 fails
Tchuess Michael, I just followed the map and it depends on where you start from. First download the tool as you did then decompress it with tar as you did and go to the platform you are using. I did mine on a ubuntu micro PC so it was x64 not arm. then I went here: https://service.z-wave.me/expertui...

Re: Maximum number of nodes
I don't think it does... at all. These are all in the zwave specs. Even re-organization/routing is within the zwave radio chip.

Re: Maximum number of nodes
Hi, This has nothing to do with z-way. It is completely controlled by the z-wave chip and the z-wave standard. The limit is 232 nodes so if you count the master controller, 231 + mast controller. The numbering is incermental from 1-232 and then goes back to the next available from 1-232. https://www...

Re: Extract z-way network security key?
The /opt depends on what OS you have it installed on... On windows for example, it won't be in OPT. Many have it in /ETC on raspbian I believe.

Re: Fresh installation didn't work correctly
Maybe you should look into the /opt folder instead of /etc. This script did not work for me either and on buster I had to run an apt-get install after adding the zwave.me repo to apt to get it to work.

Re: Razberry Z-Way 3.0.0--CRC16 and Security classes showing up
I am now pretty much convinced that this problem is due to corrupted frames coming in to the zwave dongle and passing the CRC check. Lowering overall RF noise on the network helps but I fundamentally, CC should never be added after the interview is complete so a block should be made to not allow CC ...

Re: manual routing
I really if this function actually works anymore. As far as I know the routing tables are managed by the zwave chip firmware and not by the host controller anymore since SDK 4.xx. The zwave chipset is supposed to calculate and establish the routing on its own and you should not have to worry about b...
