Re: Force remove unresponsive mains powered device?

There is special button in the UI: Devices / Status, right column. It is a ping button. And it should mark the device as dead or confirm delivery. You can also check log when you press it and let us know the result. I usually use this button to wake up devices that are incorrectly marked as dead. B...

Re: Force remove unresponsive mains powered device?

Mark them. Either by sending them any command (for mains and FLiRS) or by the button Mark battery as Failed for sleeping devices Sending them commands does nothing, it's as if they are dead but not marked as so. They are not battery powered and can therefore not be marked as failed in this way. It ...

Please use Remove Failed from Expert UI / Network / Control
The devices are NOT marked as failed, so they are not in the list there.

Force remove unresponsive mains powered device?

After some non-optimal backup and restore cycles, I have found myself with a few devices that are non-responsive in that I cannot exclude them from the network. The devices already believes they are excluded, so I only get the "removed from foregin network" message during attempts. But somehow the R...

Re: Device security and re-inclusion

Thanks for your comments on [1]. I upgraded my device's firmware and bricked it. Waiting for a new one and hopefully this will resolve this.

Any idea on [2] and/or [3]?

Firmware upgrade brick?

I listened to recorded webinar today, used the token to find upgrade and proceeded assuming that my device ZMEERAZ2 Rev.2.1 would be fine as I purchased it relatively recently. However, after upgrading firmware the device seems to be completely dead. z-way-server.log (attached) shows the process see...

Device security and re-inclusion

[1] I keep having this issue with devices that I have included securely - all of a sudden, the message "Interview was not completed for device X" appears under "Network Health" on the landing page of Expert UI. So I go into Configuration and find that all commandClasses have completed interview exce...
