Re: Thermostatsteuerung Regel Umkehrfunktion

Hi,
Johannes

Re: job queue runs full after upgrade to v4.1.0

Hi All, I am facing the same issue. Several switches and a roller shutter would no longer work. However, if the roller shutter is operated manually to let's say 20%, the software does receive and display the changed value. Sudo systemctl restart z-way-server solved the problem but like others mentio...

Re: Z-way-server occasionally goes down

Just a quick update. Since the bug fix I didn't have a single "exited-issue".
My system is really runny stable since.
Thanks again!

Re: Z-way-server occasionally goes down

I am sad to hear that. My system is still running.
Have you been running Z-Way in debugging environment?
Fingers crossed that Poltos can find the root cause.

Re: Z-way-server occasionally goes down

Thanks, Poltos. Unix and I are not (yet) good friends. But I am learning from each and every mistake I make.

Re: Z-way-server occasionally goes down

No z-way-server issues whatsoever since Friday. Yeah! Soooo happy! I had one complete raspi system crash which I do not attribute to the HTTP issue or any other Z-way malfunction. It was certainly me who screwed the system up. And today I've tried to modify the log level in /opt/z-way-server/config....

Re: Z-way-server occasionally goes down

@Ianbrown: Have you considered adding a UPS shield to the raspberry? It goes without saying that for such sensitive applications like home automation only the most reliable power supplies must be used. The vast majority of my pi system crashes (other than the just z-way) did not result from power su...

Re: Z-way-server occasionally goes down

@harveybabes: If you don't work a lot with the log file it may make sense to reduce the amount and depth of information captured in the log file. This is defined in the file /opt/z-way-server/config.xml There should be a line <log-level>2</log-level> The numeric value determines the amount of inform...

Re: Z-way-server occasionally goes down

Same here.
My system is running for nearly 40 hours.
I have increased the pressure by adding another 7 HTTP devices to now have a total of 27.
I hope it will keep going.

Re: Smart washing machine

Hi Michael, I am thinking about the same. My idea is to create a HTTP device to read the current power consumption. That part I have achieved using a Tasmota driven plug. I then thought about checking each change of the Power consumption with EasyScripting. If the Power falls below 1W (or whatever t...
