Re: Question about "Link other Z-Way controller"
For those interested. Z-Way integration: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/zwave_me/ Z-Way add-on: https://github.com/Z-Wave-Me/ha-z-wave-me-addon The add-on runs Z-way 4.1.4 in a container under Home Assistant. Nothing is exchanged between the system in my case at the moment. It is just no...

Re: Question about "Link other Z-Way controller"
Hi, just for clarification…. I‘m talking about the Z-Way App „Link other Z-Way Controller“. I have not found a method, that I could see any of the remote devices. My question would be… I understand you have one Z-Way system as master that acts as „data collector“ for the other five systems which co...

Re: Z-Wave.Me future (discussion)
Did you read the part about the Z-Uno SDK?
Z-Uno SDK is now also a product of Trident IoT. All Trident IoT DevKits coming in near future should be Z-Uno-compatible.

Re: Question about "Link other Z-Way controller"
I use it and it does work. In my case I have six Z-Way systems; five with Z-Wave devices and the sixth that combines all of the devices and this is what Home Assistant polls. You do not need a dedicated system, I just went this route. For simplistic reasons I will just detail how it works with two s...

Re: Z-Wave.Me future (discussion)
You can run Z-Way as an add-on in Home Assistant. That is what I do. So Z-Way just feeds into Home Assistant via the integration. For me, when the 900 series is released is when I will need to revisit the setup. You never know, by then the new employer PoltoS has might have some offering. From the f...

Re: Z-Wave.Me future (discussion)
Z-Way will continue to work, you won't have the remote access via the app though. In my case, this is not important as Z-Way is just feeding into Home Assistant. I have remote access to Home Assistant via Cloudflare using the Home Assistant app. Z-Way is stable and runs as a docker on Home Assistant...

Re: Z-Wave.Me future (discussion)
I was not able to do a restore from standalone Z-Way to the Add-On version. If you're not using any rules and such or care about the rules, the devices will be rediscovered as the controller still knows of them. The issue I ran into, after a restore the controller was no longer visible even though i...
