Re: Update recommendations

Updating through the GUI is the most safe option. Many have updated to 7.42 and never had an issue.

Re: Migration z-way-server into docker

I had the same issue but the HAT was no longer accessible after the restore. I didn't have automations running under Z-Way so I just used a fresh docker instance and let Z-Way discover the devices.

Re: Z-Wave.Me future (discussion)

Of course, this depends on my Razberry staying alive, and if not, an alternative board appearing (I note there seem to be no Razberry boards for sale now). USB dongles are a possibility I assume. Any comments? This is based upon previous statements by @PoltoS. Trident just sells chips, so someone w...

Re: Zwave.me and Home Assistant Is it still workable ?

It is easy to get it working. You need two things, the add-on and the integration. You need to install the add-on first which is the Docker version of Z-Way. Add-on: https://github.com/Z-Wave-Me/ha-z-wave-me-addon Once you have that up and running and can access Z-Way, then the integration is availa...

Re: Z-Wave.Me future (discussion)

Does Trident IOT have an alternative software that I can change to ? They still have Z-Way; there is no successor to Z-Way as they released 5.x. No one here is going to be able to provide any suggestions as well, your question provides too little information. Could you switch to another home automa...

Re: Question about "Link other Z-Way controller"

For those interested. Z-Way integration: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/zwave_me/ Z-Way add-on: https://github.com/Z-Wave-Me/ha-z-wave-me-addon The add-on runs Z-way 4.1.4 in a container under Home Assistant. Nothing is exchanged between the system in my case at the moment. It is just no...

Re: Question about "Link other Z-Way controller"

Hi, just for clarification…. I‘m talking about the Z-Way App „Link other Z-Way Controller“. I have not found a method, that I could see any of the remote devices. My question would be… I understand you have one Z-Way system as master that acts as „data collector“ for the other five systems which co...

Re: Z-Wave.Me future (discussion)

Did you read the part about the Z-Uno SDK?
Z-Uno SDK is now also a product of Trident IoT. All Trident IoT DevKits coming in near future should be Z-Uno-compatible.
