Finally I installed the zwavejs2mqtt https://hub.docker.com/r/zwavejs/zwavejs2mqtt which seems to work perfectly with the z-wave.me stick .

The stick was detected as ACM1 - this is ok. Now you need the Z-Way software. Not sure how it works on Synology - what is the CPU? May be some of the existing builds can work.
