Re: logrotate z-way-server has wrong file mode

I was just curious and looked in the .deb file.
I upgraded from 3.0.5 to 3.0.6 using z-way web UI, I didn't do anything manually.

Re: 3.0.6 - A couple of bugs

Looks like a few case errors in 3.0.6, Poltos gave me this fix about a month ago. /automation/modules/ZWave/index.js, line 1352: this.assignRoutesToAssociated(nodeid); by this.assignRoutesToAssociated(nodeId); But reorg still crashes my z-way :( you know a work around ? as you said. Re: logrotate z-way-server has wrong file mode

I just looked in z-way-3.0.6_armhf.deb (downloaded on 28th April 2020) Extracting with 7-Zip Found the file. C:\Z-Wave\Firmware\z-way-3.0.6_armhf.deb\data.tar\.\etc\logrotate.d\z-way-server and the 'mode' column shows it with permissions -rw-rw-r-- All other files in the PI4 logrotate folder are set...

Re: Very big log-file after update to 3.0.6

Yes is a bug that was fixed in 3.0.2, but came back in 3.0.6

This command will fix it for 3.0.6
sudo chmod 0644 /etc/logrotate.d/z-way-server

Wait 1-3 days for it to work, or run it now with this command :-
sudo logrotate --force /etc/logrotate.d/z-way-server

Re: Import only devices after big update

I have never found a clear answer to that.
The backup in ExpertUI was what I thought, a backup of the z-wave chip.
Take backups now. most restores work !
Then try a restore to your older backup.

With a bit of luck and fingers crossed. yippee.

Re: Alexa skill

I have Raspberry with v3.0.6 and Alexa app version 1.1.0 and it works like you are requesting.
Has your Alexa app been updated to 1.1.0 ?

Re: Firmware upgrade brick?

Think you answered your own question.
I'm sure Serguei said the blue ones were suspect in the Webinar (bad manufacture batch - fails upgrade).

Maybe Poltos will give some advice.

Re: Device security and re-inclusion

I haven't had this issue re-occur now I am on 3.0.6. I had it earlier though. You can always bypass the interview failure. as in my previous post. I do accept that is just ignoring the error. if it works, without errors.. happy.. https://forum.z-wave.me/viewtopic.php?f=3419&t=33254&p=86035&hilit=sec...

Alexa app changed at around 3.0.4
I had to reselect all of my Alexa devices on the Voice Assistant page.

Re: Login Issue

That's the normal error message for an invalid password. You mention iOS, but what other OS are you also trying ? Preferred browser is Chrome, Clear the cache if you are already using Chrome. Let's assume you are trying to login locally, eg 192.168.1.x:8083 with something like admin and the password...
