Re: Z-way-server on FreeBSD?

Haha, maybe an odd question then.. But after having my RPi SD card corrupted for the X:ed time, I'm starting to look into alternative platforms. But anyway thanks for the response. FreeBSD idea was to explore possibility of running it as jail on FreeNAS, so VM would be overkill. But then I know it's...

Re: Extract z-way network security key?

https://smarthome.community/topic/28/network-key-location Perfect! Thanks rafale. Can't believe this is not in the manual or in this forum somewhere. For completeness - the file is located here: /opt/z-way-server/config/zddx/homeId-DeviceData.xml ..and the entry here is called "networkKey".

Extract z-way network security key?

I have included a secondary controller (Z-stick) in my network, but it is not able to communicate with those devices that have been securely included via the RaZberry. I'm assuming I need to set the Z-way-server's network security key in the secondary controller - but how do I extract it from Z-way-...

COMMAND_CLASS_SOUND_SWITCH support

I recently purchased an Aeotec Doorbell 6, which I understand is quite a capable device. But it relies on the SOUND_SWITCH command class, which we dont have support for here yet? Any plans of implementing? This command is required for changing the volume and/or tone of the device. So pretty boring w...

Re: Controller change - Lost control over securely included devices

That checkbox is to also restore information on the RaZberry - otherwise only names and interview data is restored, but not the list of devices One would think that the controller change function would transfer the network key as part of the process, but I'm happy to report that restoring the previ...

Re: Controller change - Lost control over securely included devices

If your old controller is still alive, make a backup and restore it. It might happen that restore will complain (in the log), so send it us and we help you. Restore this backup on the new hardware. I actually already did a backup from ExpertUI on the old hardware, and restored this on the new - see...

Controller change - Lost control over securely included devices

I've been using the original RaZberry for quite some time, but recently bought the RaZberry2 and a new RPI to upgrade my setup. I performed a controller change using the ExpertUI, but now I cannot control the devices on my network that have been securely included. I can get an update on the Status t...

Re: Z-Way v3.0.0 Release

You can either make a permanent token for your requests or (like before) check Allow Public API access in the Z-Wave app. Allowing public access to the API doesn't allow access to the user modules' allowExternalAccess methods - results in "Not logged in" response. Is there a way to grant ...
