Re: Virtual device over api from esp8266

This command works from my Arduino device. Similar or same as esp8266. ----ZAutomation/api/v1/devices/HTTP_Device_switchMultilevel_276/command/exact?level=50 Have you already sorted out the password, login details. You need to setup z-way virtual device as a Switch. You can't update a Sensor. (They ...

Re: Revert back to v3.2.2

In the GUI you can 'update' and choose v3.2.2
or if using Telnet. Download the file, Click 'more' under Raspberry.

Re: Timestamp on Device Eventlog Wrong Shows NaN.NaN

No its not.
You need to apply the Hotfix.
It's incorporated in 4.0 once it gets released.
Soon Apparently :)

Re: Advice on Upgrading

If its not broken don't change it. You want Alexa though. (Didn't know that needed 3.x) PI GPIO Daughter Card - Gen5 is still compatible with 3.2.3, and 4.0.0 You will need to upgrade your PI to Buster or newer. You don't need a licence with a z-way board. UZB is different and you need to buy a Lice...

Re: Windows drivers?

No one has answered yet !

I have an old UZB.
I have never needed to install any specific drivers in Windows 10.
It only appears as a 'USB Serial Device'
That is its job, A serial com port.
Try Uninstalling it, Delete drivers if it asks.
Reboot and see what it asks for !

Re: Need frequent server restarts to control CPU load

Thanks Neil in Seattle.

sudo: lsof: command not found

Thought you had the answer there.
Alexa and Arduino requests sometimes wait 30 days to clear their Active Sessions.
I looked at all active sessions, there aren't any rouge ones.
Will see what TOP - H shows in a weeks time.

Re: Where to get the firmware

A restart doesn't always work with Firmware updates !
Try a power Cycle.
A safe shutdown is preferred.
sudo /etc/init.d/z-way-server stop
Sudo shutdown
Wait till the leds go off.
Turn off the power for 10 seconds.

Re: Need frequent server restarts to control CPU load

We seem to have gone off topic here. OP said CPU usage consumes over time. No Turing multi processor boards. I'm looking at Top - H Nothing yet to report after 1 day. After a reboot all seems ok. I will report back in a week, when z-way consumes 14% processor. All the same tasks as it's doing today....

Re: Need frequent server restarts to control CPU load

Me too, Earlier I noticed it took 3 attempts to turn a light off, I assumed that was normal. Z-Way is using 14.5% Processor on my Pi4, (14 days since restart) Restarted sudo /etc/init.d/z-way-server restart 30 minutes later 0.6% processor and things work properly. Needs some investigation for the ca...

Re: RPi3B+ w/ Razberry 2 to RPi4 w/ Razberry 7 Pro migration

To start with you need both backups. ExpertUI and also - Settings - Backup & Restore. Your 2nd option With a Pi4 and Pro7 card is what i'd do. Leave the old pi3 as a working backup system. On The PI4 with pro7 board attached. Either download the Image, or build the raspberry yourself. I'd Instal...
