Here ate the steps, you will need to replace the path with the the release you're looking for. So you'l' need to do some of the work. This is all done via the CLI.
To install the latest you use this command:
wget -qO -
https://storage.z-wave.me/RaspbianInstall | sudo bash
Obviously you don't want the latest version so the path of the file needs to be changed.
On this page, it lists the various platforms:
https://z-wave.me/z-way/download-z-way/
Look for the section labeled as "Z-Way for Windows and other platforms" and click on the link.
Look for "Z-Way for Raspberry Pi" and there is a link that says "more" and you need to click on the more link. It will expand out and lists multiple releases. Copy the link to the release you want and use that as the path to install Z-Way. This will downgrade Z-Way.
Just because a new release is released doesn't mean you need to upgrade. If you have a stable system and do not need any of the new features, you shouldn't just upgrade to upgrade. Why not wait and see what others have to say in the forums first? There is a saying, don't fix what isn't broken.

tried it, but
this command through putty:
wget -qO -
https://storage.z-wave.me/z-way-server/ ... _armhf.deb | sudo bash
returns theese errors
bash: line 1: syntax error at "newline", which is an unexpected symbol
bash: line 1: `!<arch>'
have tried typing the command letter by letter, but the samme error is returned
what's wrong?

Don’t blame users for z-way introducing a bug in a core function that was stable for years
I have had z-way added to my Debian apt sources for a long time so packages routinely get updated through apt upgrade

No news on this? The devs still haven't opened the PM I sent with debug logs 4 days ago

If you encounter the hang of the queue, please send us info from the API:
http://{IP}:8083/JS/Run/zway.devices[ {last device to which a command was sent} ].data.lastSendInternal
http://{IP}:8083/JS/Run/zway.controller.data.pauseSending

Thanks, how do we find out the last device ID to which a command was successfully sent?

You can go in expert UI to see all devices with last send time or check http://{IP}:8083/JS/Run/zway.devices[ {last device to which a command was sent} ].data.lastSend (without Internal)

@otverber Your queue looks ok - 22 sent packets - nothing wrong here. But If you still think there is an issue, please send us the log on support -mail (with a link to this thread).
The problem others are experiencing is a different one. Could someone with this issue help us by providing remote access to chase the issue? We are still unable to reproduce it ;(
