Z-Way v3.2.3 Release

The new Z-Way version v3.2.3 is out!

Below we have listed the most important changes introduced in last months. The full change log is available on https://storage.z-wave.me/z-way-server/ChangeLog

NB! For Rapsberry Pi only Raspbian Buster (Raspberry OS) and Raspbian Bullseye are supported. If you are still on Stretch, you will need to upgrade you Raspbian.

New features and improvements:
  • Z-Wave Plus v2 support
  • Better Homekit support
  • Fixes for Home Assistant integration
  • Added two-directions WebSocket API
  • Generate new API token for the selected user from the admin interface
  • Improvements in EasyScripting
  • Security app improvements and fixes
  • Allow Unsecure, S2 only or S0/S2 inclusion modes (best network performance is with S2 only, most secure is S0/S2)
  • Added overrideDefaultDuration to SwitchBinary, SwitchMultilevel, SwitchColor to override the device default value
  • Added duration in SwitchColor and SwitchBinary
New Command Classes support:
  • DoorLock v4. Big change in DoorLock C/JS API and DataHolders
  • Indicator v4
  • UserCode v2
  • Configuration v4 control
  • Configuration v2 Bulk mode support
  • ThemostatMode v3 Manufacturer Specific added and refactored
  • EntryControl v1
  • FirmwareUpdate v7
Whats next?
  • Add support for Z-Wave Long Rage (US users can also check the v4.0.0 release candidate)
  • Multicast UI

I guess 4.0.0-2-gba4062cf-lws16 already contains all these fixes?

Allow disable packet log for slow systems or big networks

4.0.0-2 is a bit behind v3.2.3 + LR support.

Go in Apps > Active > Z-Wave Binding and select to disable or enable the logging. It is for Popp/Z-Wave.Me Hub and similar h/w, as well as for networks with 50+ devices on RPi3. RPi4 can handle 100 devices without any issue with the logging enabled.
