API Error 404

Post by Isaksson »

Hello.
Iam updating some DummyDevices from external program with this link.
http://IP:8083/ZAutomation/api/v1/devic ... command/on

in RC33 that worked but in 2.0.1 i get authentication failed, i think i remembered that there was a config file where you could enable API access without password, but now i don't seems to find it.

Thanks, did you solve it with "move to room" and att permission to it?

OK, created a room and assigned anonymous permissions on that room.
But *how* do I move the API into that room? I'm confused...

EDIT: got it :-)
Have to move the devices into that room, not the API

Today it did not work anymore, i was not able to update the device anonymous.
I don't know if it was a reboot of my rpi or z-way reboot but when i looked at user management my anonymous user was not anonymous anymore it has automatically changed to admin and no room connected to it, i just changed the user to anonymous again and added the room and now it works.

I am going to see if i could reproduce this error.
