Imperihome

Post by stimpy »

Does anyone know whether there is a way of getting Imperihome to work with Z-Way? Currently I have Z-Way -> Domoticz -> MyDomoAtHome -> Imperihome - which is not a very elegant solution!

Well, they have a pretty simple http api for systems: http://www.imperihome.com/apidoc/systemapi/
So you can write a module implementing this api and integrate directly.

First of all Imperihome would not be my front-end of choice. But so wouldn't Homekit. I think both do rely on webservices. I rather have a completely local system, not necessarily bound to the internet.

That being said, I think Imperihome looks like an interesting proposition that seems to work on both iOS and Android.

If I understand the Youtube Vera integration tutorials, and their glossy information correctly it needs a ZWay module that makes all Zway devices available to the Imperihome configurator. My understanding is that all Zway devices are to be mapped to Imperihome virtual devices.
This is not trivial task. But the work of ImportRemoteHA may be a good starting point.
