@a_shitty_ninja Z-Way exists for Windows too. But RaZberry card was never tested on WinIoT. I don't expect any problems, since this is just a COM-port.

Please note that latest WinIoT have an annoying bug - it will be fixed within a week

z-way is a win-32 application, supported on windows x86 and x86. windows IoT is running on my Pi which is of the ARM architecture, meaning z-way, in it's current state, is not supported on an ARM architecture device. I've since flashed my device with rasbpian or w/e the version of linux is. z-way is setup but the controller still has no led indicator activity, won't pair to any devices...this whole experience has been incredibly infuriating

Hm... Indeed it is ARM. Honestly, never seen Windows on ARM ;)

To help you we need more info. Please try to follow our Known problems (http://razberry.z-wave.me/index.php?id=29) and How to report bugs (http://razberry.z-wave.me/index.php?id=27).

You are not going to get the GPIO card to work as Microsoft have grabbed the built in serial port for kernel debugging. Their are enough people complaining about this oversight so hopefully it will be resolved but in the mean time you are stuck with USB devices.

About the original post, there is a solution to use the Razberry shield with Raspberry 2 GPIO and Windows 10 IoT?

Some MS-related guy on MSDN forums has said that built-in UART will be available for users around RTM. Can't say whether it is really true.
If that happens, we'll consider making a WinIoT distribution of Z-Way software.

This would be great for me - I guess it's too early yet but is there any indication of when the RTM will be?
Thanks, Duncan

Sorry, we don't have any information on this. You'd better ask it on some WinIoT community.
