Greenwave Power Node - annoying blinking LED!

Post by MicCio »

Hi Community,

upfront I'm totally new to Z-Wave and Homeautomation.
My Controller is a simple Raspberry with the Razberry Module on it. So far it works out perfectly.
Did include my devices and they work fine. Recently I bought the greenwave power node (see picutre Greenwave Powernode

I can switch them on and off, but once I do switch them off after couple of time the Power Node does start with some annoying blinking that lights up the whole room. Acoording the manual this blinking LED is an indicator for a loss of controller connection but using interface of my controller I could right away switch it back on. Further it describes a parameter that can be set to stop the blinking, so I went in the Expert UI navigated to my device and set the parameter as per the manual ( like in here), but that helps only for a couple of seconds and the node starts blinking again.

Anyonne has an Idea of what I'm doing wrong?

Thank you!

Once you've polled the greenwave it stops blinking. Setting the connection parameter to 255 means it will start blinking if it hasn't been polled for 255 minutes. So make sure you poll it often, in any case within the timeframe, but if you have multiple of these things like me there's a lot of polling going on which might choke your z-wave network.
