Hi,
I am using ZWay v3.0.4 on a Raspberry Pi and a 2nd (I think) generation green RazBerry with firmware version 5.36.
I tried to replace a failed node but that unfortunately timed out. This left the RazBerry with its red light on.
I tried replacing the node again but it would not recognise the new node (it just kept on trying to replace it until it timed out). After trying a few things I pressed the Reset API button which cleared the red light and I was then able to replace the node successfully.
However, the red light now comes back on and stays on each time I restart ZWay. I see in Network Control> Device Management that it now says:
"Controller is primary in the network. It is in a special SIS mode and so any controller in the network can add and remove devices to/from the network." and "(Controller is in normal mode)"
How do I get it out of this mode?
Many thanks,
Greg

Stuck in special SIS mode
Re: Stuck in special SIS mode
Hi, it´s looking like my Razberry, same expert message and also the red LED. I assume that it´s normal behaviour.
I can remember that the LED is/was a bug, and everything is working in my z-way system.

Re: Stuck in special SIS mode
This is a small bug in the firmware - with v3.0.x and RaZ 5.3x the red LED is on by default due to Smart Start activated. This will be fixed in 5.37 firmware, but it is not a problem (except for annoying red LED)
Re: Stuck in special SIS mode
Hi PoltoS (and enbemokel),
Thanks for your reply. I was really only concerned with the fact that it was saying that it was in Special SIS mode (the red light was something that had never happened before and I assumed that it was a symptom of it being in the Special SIS mode). Also the red light isn't on if I am running Domoticz.

Re: Stuck in special SIS mode
Because Domoticz have no idea about Smart Start
