Hi,
I've tried to do a full network restore but all attempts fail with:
"Z-Wave Expert UI - ERROR
Upload or restore of backup has failed"
The log shows:
"[E] [zway] SDK is not supported. Upgrade your stick or contact Z-Way developers for more information"
and the network is now empty. I was using ZWay v3.0.4 on a Raspberry Pi running Buster and a 2nd (I think) generation green RazBerry with firmware version 5.36.
I regularly make backups, both zab/zbk and Raspberry Pi images, so I tried going back to a previous Jessie image with ZWay 2.3.8 and corresponding zab/zbk backups but have exactly the same problem and with multiple other backups too.
I can't believe that all of the backups are broken, how can I get the restore to work?
Thanks,
Greg

Network restore fails
Re: Network restore fails
It is not a backup problem, but Z-Way problem. Please let us assist you remotelly and check the problem. You can send us credentials information to check the issue.
This error message usually happens when the SDK is to new, but 6.81.01 should work in v3.0.4.
Also there is a file upload issue in v3.0.4. Please first upgrade to v3.0.5 to eliminate this problem:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install z-way-server

Re: Network restore fails
Hi PoltoS,
Phew - that did the trick - thank you for your help again!
Strange, because I had already tried 2.3.8 Jessie, 3.0.4 Buster and 3.0.4 upgraded to 3.0.5 Buster all of which failed to restore. This time I went straight from 2.3.8 Buster to 3.0.5 and it worked. Perhaps I had made a mistake or used a wrong backup file somewhere.
Are zab/zbk backup files compatible between ZWay versions (i.e. can I restore a 2.3.8 generated backup in 3.0.5 and a 3.0.5 backup in 2.3.8)?
